End-to-end delivery of energy storage solutions – from customer acquisition and needs analysis, feasibility and business case assessment, component procurement and plant construction through to maintenance and operations.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the Business Unit IES across the entire project lifecycle – from development and commissioning to maintenance
- Building a scalable project and engineering organisation in line with the growth strategy
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of project managers as well as engineering and delivery teams
- Definition and implementation of technical standards, system architectures and end-to-end project methodologies
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams with end-to-end responsibility for schedule, cost, quality and safety
- Management of grid connections, technical acceptance and commissioning in coordination with utilities, authorities and partners
- Close collaboration with COO, CEO and CRO to ensure technology, process and resource standards
- Supporting technical business development (feasibility studies, concepts, effort estimates) and structured handover from sales to delivery
Requirements
- Technical university degree (ETH/FH/TU) with focus on energy, electrical, mechanical, systems or industrial engineering
- Several years of experience (ideally 8–12 years) in delivering complex energy, infrastructure or industrial projects – preferably in BESS, energy systems or grid connection
- Project, budget and leadership responsibility as well as experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of interdisciplinary teams
- Systems thinking and ability to make technical decisions at architecture and overall system level
- Experience in planning, engineering, realisation and commissioning of turnkey installations
- Confident operation at the interface of engineering, project delivery, sales and management
- Entrepreneurial mindset, decisiveness and strong execution mentality
- Fluent German and English (French an advantage)
