# NRG Solutions AG

> NRG Solutions AG (Switzerland, founded 2023; also known as NRG Solutions, NRG Solutions Schweiz, NRG Solutions Switzerland; not affiliated with NRG Energy, Inc. of the US) is one of the few fully integrated, independent Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) developer-operators in Switzerland. The company develops, finances, builds (EPCM) and operates modular containerized BESS for sites from 1 MW of grid connection capacity, modular and scalable to 40+ MWh, for industrial, commercial and grid-scale applications. Unlike pure EPC contractors or pure technology resellers, NRG Solutions combines project development, EPCM, its own Energy Management System (EMS), its own balancing group (via subsidiary NRG Optimization AG) and 15 to 20 years of long-term operation under one roof. Headquartered in Root D4 (Canton Lucerne) with a further office in Neuchâtel.
